If you have a residence permit and are registered in the Danish national register with a civil registration number and a fixed address in Denmark, you can attend free language training at Guldborgsund Municipality’s Language and Integration Centre (Sprog og Integrationscenter). For cross-border commuters special rules apply – contact Sprog- Integrationscentret for more information.

Before starting at the school, you must have a referral from the municipality where you reside or AF (Employment Service). The Citizen Services Centre can help with the referral. 

When the language centre has received the referral, you will be summoned to an assessment interview with one of the counsellors at the school.  The purpose of the interview is to provide the best possible educational offer based on your background and you plans for the future. 

Normally, you are notified of the commencement date for your education at the latest one month after the assessment.

If you do not have a residence permit or are not registered in the Danish national register with a civil registration number, you can upon payment attend Danish lessons.
